It’s Playtime! Winter Play Ideas

January 5, 2012 by Anna Ranson

There were some wonderful ideas for winter and snow play linked up at the last It’s Playtime two weeks ago. Here are a few of my favourites.
Teach Preschool let her kiddies explore fake snow in a huge sensory tub– SO much fun and a great twist to the usual snow globes!
Exploring the Outdoor Classroom linked a fabulous active play idea for a Snowball Target Game!
Here Come the Girls made some cute winter sensory boxes for exploring!

If you were featured today please grab an “I proudly encourage play!” button from the sidebar.

It’s Playtime is a collaborative linky hosted by:

                                                           * Anna : The Imagination Tree

* Rachel : Kids Activities
* Jamie : hands on : as we grow
* Rachele : Messy Kids
* Jenny : Let the Children Play

Link your playful idea at any of these sites and it will appear on all 5!

Please include a text link or a button (in the sidebar) so that others can find the linky easily! Thank You.

    Thanks for featuring mine! Loved doing sensory boxes, though hubby wasn’t keen so will have to keep it for when he’s out and then tidy up a lot. Love your fairy sensory box, so pretty. Will have to try that.

    I love the fake snow play idea – even I would enjoy that, and I haven’t a crafty bone in my body!

    I love seeing all the cool things everyone is doing. Yours is my favorite blog hop. There are so many amazing links to type of things my girls love to do.
