It’s Playtime! [4]

April 28, 2011 by Anna Ranson

Welcome to It’s Playtime! The playful link party that is hosted on QuirkyMomma, Hands On: As We Grow, Messy Kids, The Imagination Tree and Let The Children Play every Thursday!

Yes, you read that correctly! This week we are VERY excited to announce that Jenny from the wonderful educational blog Let The Children Play is joining us as our fifth and final host in the link-up! We are so thrilled to have her on board because of her philosophy of play-based learning and her dedication to this cause through her blog.
Remember, when you post on one of our sites it will appear on all FIVE! Small effort on your part and huge rewards for readers who are keen to see your wonderful ideas!
Please remember that we are looking for ideas for PLAY and CREATIVITY, rather than crafts and teaching ideas. Thank you!
From last week, my favourite idea was playing with ice cubes by Pyjama School. Fun, open-ended, playful and child-centred. And just perfect for this wonderful heat we have been having in the UK this month!
We can’t wait to see what you have been doing this week! Have you played a game outside, made dens, set up an obstacle course, been dressing up, creating an imaginary play scene, making models or fresh playdough? Let us know and inspire us all to PLAY!
By linking up you are giving us permission to use a photo and your link in an upcoming featured post. Please do not link an idea you have shared before or to a giveaway or promotion.
 Thank you!
