Acts of Kindness Ideas for Teachers

May 7, 2017 by Anna Ranson

Here are some adorable acts of kindness ideas for teacher appreciation week, or any time you wish to show some extra love and thankfulness to teachers! Our ideas use the Kindness Elves and are so simple, achievable and fun, plus we have free printables for you too!

As you will know by now, The Kindness Elves are my most favourite creation. The idea behind them is to instil in kids a real love for showing kindness and empathy towards others, in a magical and fun way!

The gorgeous Kindness Elves (available in many different colours!) arrive in your home or classroom with their amazing little house and bring notes which encourage the children to do acts of kindness both around the home and in the wider community too.

Teachers have been really loving our Kindness Elves and the accompanying Kind Classroom eBook and eMaterials set, putting the PSHE activity ideas into place in their own classrooms around the world with great effect.

You can follow along with our daily kindness prompts over on our Facebook and Instagram pages here.

As it’s teacher appreciation week this coming week, we thought it was good timing to bring our Kindness Elves for another visit in our home. They are bringing some gorgeous pencil shaped Acts of Kindness suggestion cards with them and we have them available for you to download for free too!

Click to download and print your free  Acts of Kindness Ideas for Teachers  here.

SPECIAL BONUS! This week only (May 7th-14th) we are giving away a free copy of Kind Classroom eBook and materials with every purchase of Kindness Elves! You can pass it to your child’s teacher if you’re not one yourself. Simply add it to your basket and it will be free at checkout. Also, keep your eyes open on our FB page this week for an amazing school giveaway!

Once the pencil RAK cards are printed and cut out, choose one to set out each morning this week next to your Kindness Elves as an encouragement for your kids to show extra kindness and thoughtfulness towards teachers and helpers this week.

It may be too much to do one each day, in which case you could choose just a few that are the most achievable.

If your children are homeschooled or too young to be at school yet, you could simply apply these ideas to club leaders and extra curricular teachers instead.

You can, of course, also make up your own acts of kindness ideas or use some of our other printable cards which you will find over here on our Kindness Elves website. We also have another 25 Ideas for the Kindness Elves here too!

We are strong believers that the more we teach children to think about others while they are young, the greater the impact this new generation can have on the world around them. Will you join us in our Kindness Mission?!

Did you know we also have written a story book to accompany the Kindness Elves, which makes a perfect gift to give before the elves arrive in your home or classroom. It explains their magical home in the rainbows and clouds and why they partner with children on their special missions of kindness. You can find our book, The Story of the Kindness Elves, here.

We also have an accessories pack which has a Kindness Memory book, gorgeous mini post cards, sheets of stickers and 50 acts of kindness cards, as well as an adorable mini bottle of magic sprinkles!
