October 26, 2015 by Anna Ranson

Here are 12 beautiful Autumn leaves art activities for kids to try this season! They are all easy to set up, low cost and use a wide range of different art media, resulting in framable wall art, nature collages and special keepsakes.12 Autumn leaf art activities for kids

I think that Autumn is probably my most favourite season of all, because of the sheer beauty of nature and the changing colours all around. The abundance of free art materials falling from the trees is an added bonus, and it is so much fun experimenting with new ways to use them in art and play.

Over the years we have tried out a huge number of art, craft and learning activities using natural materials, so I’ve gathered a collection of 12 of the best art activities we have done which either use or depict Autumn leaves. You could easily substitute most of these for Spring leaves or even flowers, if it is a different season where you live right now!

    Hi
I am just wondering what you do with all the crafts and projects when you are done with them?

Hi Amanda! Well, display those that can be hung in the window or as a garland. Keep some on the side for the current season, file others away if they will fit in folders or drawers. Otherwise I photograph them and eventually get rid of them (especially if they’re crumbling or losing colour etc.) but it’s hard to do!
