Drink It All In with Twinings!

March 6, 2015 by Anna Ranson

As busy Mamas we all know that the busy moments of everyday life can sometimes mount up into seemingly endless and unthankful tasks, which can leave us feeling exhausted. Since leaving work to be at home full time with my 4 little ones, I admit to finding some days to feel dull and simply very hard work!

But between all the piles of laundry, constant mess and sibling squabbles there are so many little moments that are pure joy and happiness, and it’s gathering all of these together that helps us to retain our sanity and have some much needed perspective!image

This is one of the reasons why I love the new advert and campaign that has been launched by Twinings UK this month, called Drink It All In #drinkitallin.

Watch the delightful Twinings video ad here to see the lovely idea behind it.

Quite simply, they are encouraging us all to stop and savour the small, incidental moments of our everyday lives, using all of our senses to drink it all in. For me right now, it’s all about drinking up the gorgeous, teeny toes and newborn baby breath of this sweet little love! And watching his doting big sisters crowd around him as soon as they wake up each morning, taking turns to hold him makes SO much of the everyday stress melt away.

As part of this campaign, Twinings have introduced weekly competitions (open world-wide) to encourage everyone to share their own everyday, special moments, using the hashtag #drinkitallin. Each week there is a different theme to focus on, such as this week’s “how do you step into your day to make the most of the opportunities ahead?” and the next one will be announced next Monday.

Pop on over to the Twinings UK Facebook page to see the weekly themes as they are announced, and upload your own photos to enter the competition!

My bucket of Sharpie markers bring me secret happiness whenever I see them and if I get to do some sketching or making then I’m even happier! Those little crafty moments are few and far between, but feel so fulfilling.IMG_0233

You can share your #drinkitallin moments on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and Twinings will be choosing 10 winners per week to receive a selection of teas and a voucher to spend. IMG_1496

Here’s to savouring all the small, happy moments and realising how much they can add up!
