A Prayer for Exhausted Parents: It’s Playtime!

I’ve been SO exhausted this week that I didn’t even manage to post the It’s Playtime link up on time, let alone chose any of the wonderful posts to feature! So now that I’m managing it, it seems very appropriate to attach this wonderful poem or prayer for tired parents! I’ve posted this on my Facebook page before and just adore the touching sentiments within it. It’s such a fantastic reminder for these early years of parenting and I hope it will encourage you too!
Have you created some wonderful memories this week? Got a link to share? Join our kids meme!

Thank you for the poem. I’ve gotten significantly better at taking a moment to breath in trying times like these and usually at that point my daughter turns to me and says “maybe you should try more coffee”. Wise beyond her 4 years : ) I linked up for the first time. New to your blog. Love what I see. Thanks for hosting! (Sugarsnips.com)

I needed this poem today – a potty emptied in the hallway, water spat down the central heating vent, running away from me in a carpark… and on and on. There have been a few sharp replies today! I shall try for more gentleness tomorrow!
