Mind Maps: 25-26 months
In this post I talked about the first “Mind Map”
that I did with Cakie. She is still really keen on asking us to draw pictures so we have been making lots more of these little maps together over the past couple of months. Here are a few favourites. Note the recurring themes!
As expected, the scary, loud, machines took central stage. I love how she said “all done oover” ie no more hoovering please!
There is still a huge interest in food, especially ice cream, fruit and lollipops. That’s ma’girl! She has also started to add her own little marks and to describe what they are.
And in the latest map, some significant people are making their mark. Our wonderful friends Mark and Yaz and their children, and the very special Aunty Soof. I just love that “puddles” feature so highly too! A true toddler activity that is bringing lots of autumnal joy…puddle splashing!
These mind maps are going to be so much fun to look back on one day!
